My goal is to really support you in the development and design of your website but also to ensure that you learn about it as we go along. The more information you have the more empowered you will be to make the right decisions about what is best for you business and the type of website you need. I have seen too many woman in business pushed into paying for expensive websites expecting that it's going to be the thing that makes their business a success. To get the most out of your website, it must not only be attractive to your target market but it must be easy to navigate and functional for the purpose of their visit. My job is to ensure all of these things come together.

In the beginning.....

I started my first business Forever Impressed Photo Keepsakes in July 2007. At the time my eldest son Bailey was 21 months old and my youngest son Jesse was 6 months old. I was pretty sure at this time that Bailey had Autism and we were desperately trying to get him assessed. With my background as an Early Childhood Teacher I knew that he would need a lot of early

intervention which was going to be expensive. So I started my first business, Forever Impressed Photo Kepsakes and my hope was that my little business would help pay for his therapies, which it did. In November 2007 Bailey was official diagnosed, one year later Jesse too was also diagnosed with Autism. So by no means has the road been a smooth one but I guess it also goes to show that if I can run a business anyone can!

Always Learning, Always Changing....

I love designing and building websites, the development of the web and websites are always changing which means you are always learning a new skill. I love the creativity, the variety of clients that I have the pleasure of working with, who are predominately women in business needing a website.

I really enjoy working with women who are just starting out on their business journey, their passion, endless ideas and excitement is such a wonderful thing to be a part of. I openly share the knowledge that I have learned and continue to learn through my business. I am passionate about empowerment, it's so important when you are looking at getting a website built that you know what you want, what you'll be getting and how it actually works. A website for some clients will be the face of their business so a clean, impressive and interactive website that meets web standards is so incredibly important to your business.

Dream Big And Just Give It A Go!

Running a business, being a wife and mother and usually as women we have another number of balls up in the air that we are trying to juggle at once. This is certainly the case for most of us who make the choice to run our own business in hope that we will be able to always be there for our children. It can be so daunting starting a new business, knowing what you do and don't need, how to start, generating sales etc. etc. I can tell you it was no different for me when I started Forever Impressed but all I can say to any woman starting out is just dream big and give it a go! My other big piece of advice would be don't get too carried away; it can be so exciting when you start a new business. Know the basics of what you need to get started, know what your budget is and try and stick to it, set your goals and schedule your time.
